The street was built in the first half of 18th century. It was a street full of tinkers and other craftsmen, together with their houses coming from Turkish period. Unfortunately, only some of those are preserved today and protected by the state. The street has recently become packed with cafes, a favorite site for the visitors.

The Old Fulling Mill is the place where you can learn about characteristic technologies for making rugs, carpets and fulled carpets, used in the everyday life of the inhabitants of Koprivshtitsa during the 18th and 19th centuries. Here you can travel back in time. Moreover, you can create by yourself your own souvenir, that will forever remind you of Koprivshtitsa and bring you back to this town.

Banja Topilo (Topilo SPA) is situated 25 km away from Nis in the lively Toponicka river valley. It is reachable by an asphalt road passing through the villages of Gornja Toponica and Vele Polje. This relatively small and new Serbian spa was discovered accidentally. However, the news of its healing properties spread quickly, so that the 500 beds offered in private accommodation are used throughout the year.

Dušanova Street is an old trade street with lot of shops and facilities, built in the first part of this century. There is a trade center “Dušanov Bazar”, two-storey building with many shops.

Niš Fortress is a complex and very important cultural and historical monument - an edifice that dominates the urban nucleus of the city. It rises on the right bank of the Nišava River, overlooking the area inhabited for longer than two millenniums.

The First Grammar School of Niš - when first founded was named after the King Milan I, and later changed the name to Serbian Royal Grammar School. Nowadays, there are two grammar schools within this building: Grammar School “Stevan Sremac” and Grammar School “Bora Stanković”.

The main post-office building was originally built for a mortgage bank in 1931. There is a composition of women figures above the main entrance, and above this composition there are four life-sized men figures representing the symbol of investment and credit beneficiaries.

The University of Niš was originally two-storey building (the ground floor and the first floor) built for the Government and Police Department in Niš in 1886. Later on, during the period from 1925-1935, it was adapted and rebuilt for the Moravska Banovina. During the first few years of the World War I, this building was the center of all political and diplomatic activities of Serbian government.
